Eligibility
To participate in the Mountbatten sponsored Trainee or Intern Program, you must meet the following eligibility criteria.
Trainee
- At least 18 years old
- Non-U.S. citizen
- Training in a field related to your professional background
- Have a degree or professional certificate from a post-secondary academic institution and at least one year of prior related work experience in your occupational field outside the United States; OR five years of work experience outside the United States in the occupational field in which they are seeking training
- Proficient in English
- Looking to undertake a training placement, up to 18 months, in one of the following occupational fields: management, business, commerce, or finance.
Intern
- At least 18 years old
- Non-U.S. citizen
- Internship in a field related to your educational background / field of study
- Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States; OR graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to their exchange visitor program start date.
- Proficient in English
- Looking to undertake an internship placement, up to 365 days, in one of the following occupational fields: management, business, commerce, or finance.
