Document Checklist

As part of the application and admissions process, you will need to submit some additional documents, usually requested at the interview stage with the Mountbatten team. Some of these may take time to gather, so we recommend reaching out to the relevant institutions and beginning the process early.

Passport Requirements

You must hold a valid passport that

  • Is in excellent condition
  • Has at least 6 months validity beyond the end of the program
  • Includes at least one blank page on both side

You will be asked to submit a copy of the photo page at the Mountbatten interview stage. If you are waiting for a new passport, provide proof of your application.

Required for All Candidates

ORIGINAL Academic Transcript(s) & Degree Certificate(s)

Your academic transcript should include:

  • All courses/modules completed
  • Results/grades for each course
  • Your final degree result and the date it was awarded

If you have completed both undergraduate and postgraduate study, we require original transcripts and certificates for all qualifications.

How to submit:

  • Ask your university’s admissions or registrar’s office to email documents directly to info@mountbatten.org.
  • Most universities can now send secure electronic versions.
  • If your university doesn’t offer an electronic service, they must send a letter on official letterhead confirming your:
    Full Name
    Degree Title and Subject
    Degree classification/result
    Award date (day/month/year)

Conditional Documents

(Only required if applicable to you) Please email these documents to info@mountbatten.org

If English is not your first language – Submit evidence of English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS test results).

If your degree is NOT from the US or UK – You must obtain a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC (formerly NARIC).

  • Apply as soon as possible—it can take 10–15 working days unless fast-tracked.
  • Visit the UK ENIC website for details and instructions.

If your academic documents are not in English provide a certified English translation, either:

  • Issued directly by your university, or
  • Translated and stamped by an official translator or lawyer
