As Co-founder and Director, I wear many hats — from marketing strategy and business development to UX design and copywriting, and overall general management. What I love most is working closely with clients to bring their vision to life, making sure their brand is represented in a way that feels true to them.
How did you get into this line of business?
After my time at UBS in New York, I moved to UBS London where I worked in Legal & Compliance before transitioning into Recruitment. From there, I joined Tableau (now Salesforce) and later EY. More recently, I stepped away from the corporate world and into the creative space, launching Hunter Digital to help businesses across industries strengthen their online presence.
I’ve always been ambitious and creative, but for years my creativity ran alongside my career rather than through it. With a decade of corporate experience, a love for writing and design – building a website design studio that helps businesses show up well online felt like the perfect fit. Pairing this with my husband’s expertise in digital marketing, I transferred everything I’d learnt about presenting people and ideas effectively into helping businesses and entrepreneurs show up authentically — it was all about communication and storytelling at heart.
Becoming a mum of two also gave me the push to create a life where I could be present for my family while still supporting others through business — and I truly love what I do.
How did you go about setting it up and getting established?
It all began with a friend. She was launching her interior design company, and through our conversations I realised how much I wanted to help her bring her vision to life. I built her brand and portfolio a home online, and from there it took off.
Shortly after that, Hunter Digital exhibited at the UK Black Business Show. We connected with so many entrepreneurs and businesses we could support. It was a surreal full-circle moment, as we found ourselves exhibiting alongside companies I had once worked for, namely EY and UBS. Having people from those firms visit our stand — with one even enquiring about our services — was such a confidence boost. For a brand-new design studio, it was a huge encouragement and a reminder of the strength we bring at Hunter Digital: the professionalism from years of corporate experience blended with a love for beautiful, impactful design.
What else is in the pipeline?

What has been the proudest moment in your working life thus far?
Without a doubt, choosing to step away from corporate and intentionally build something different. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. I’ve been able to prioritise family while creating a business rooted in creativity and impact.
What has been your biggest mistake/learning experience?
Coming from a corporate background, I was used to structure and process — sometimes to the point of slowing things down. As an entrepreneur, I’ve learnt that agility is key. Processes are important, but not if they become a barrier.
Recently reading Tiny Experiments by Anne-Laure Le Cunff has also been transformative. It’s helped me adopt a mindset of testing and refining, rather than chasing perfection. Now, when something doesn’t work, I don’t see it as failure — I see it as data, as information to guide the next step. Approaching things as “tiny experiments” has quietened my inner perfectionist!
Any words of advice/wisdom would you impart to others thinking of setting up their own business?
A few bits of advice and pointers that have helped me along the way are:
- Speak to those who’ve gone before you – their experiences gave me the insight encouragement I needed.
- Get a coach or mentor – having someone to guide, challenge and keep me accountable has been invaluable.
- You’ll never feel ready – but taking action creates momentum, and with each step you grow into the role and the vision you’re building.
- Nothing in life is wasted. This was said to me by a mentor at EY who had sensed I was on the verge of big change. I’ve learnt that all the skills and experience gathered along the way will resurface when I need it.
