My Alarm Goes off… 7am

I’m Responsible For… Managing English video content (YouTube, social, the club’s OTT platform ‘Barça TV+’).

I Got The Job… After working for free! Translating social media posts in my spare time for 3 years before moving to Barcelona after Mountbatten with the vague hope of maybe getting a job there!

My Typical Day… Translating interviews, publishing videos on club platforms, planning for new content and live shows and creating artwork for our video content.

The Culture Of My Workplace… Mostly relaxed; half typical laid back, very Southern European, half hectic sporting environment with a lot of fast-changing deadlines.

My Most Memorable Work Moment… 36 hours without sleep, travelling with the squad to Tokyo for a sponsorship launch. It was like witnessing Beatlemania in person.

My Role Models are… My Mum and Dad

The Most Challenging Part of My Job… Managing what can at times be an overwhelming workload when several events (games, new signings etc) occur at the same time. Keeping up with what needs to go out daily whilst analysing how previous content has worked, and planning for the future is sometimes tricky.

The Best Part of My Job… Working in something I’m passionate about.

After Work… More football in various forms, playing music and playing with my dog!

Plan B: If I wasn’t doing this, I would… I’d like to think I’d probably doing something in education or politics.
