My Alarm Goes off…Usually around 7:00 a.m., but I don’t sleep much, so I often wake up naturally about 15 minutes before the alarm goes off. And if I don’t — my lovely cat makes sure I don’t oversleep.

I’m Responsible For… I currently lead the health and wellness division at a highly creative advertising agency called popin_. Our team manages clients in the pharma and wellness sectors, providing them with solutions and supporting their strategies—always under the umbrella of creativity.

I Got The Job…It’s a recent change. After a few months of changes and rest, I joined popin_ in April. From the very first contact with them, I felt it was the place I was meant to be and where I could fit in perfectly.

My Typical Day…My day always starts with a good cup of coffee and some toast. I usually take advantage of the morning silence to plan out my day. I used to watch the news, but given the state of the world, I decided to stop.

I’m lucky to live close to the office, so I have a nice walk every morning while listening to music. Once I get to the office, I’m fully energized, and my day goes by between brainstormings, briefings, meetings, and honestly, lots of laughs with my teammates.

The Culture Of My Workplace…To us, it’s all about having fun doing what we love most: creativity. Advertising is as passionate and exciting as intense, and our agency believes in a culture of enjoying the ride… after all, we spend a lot of hours working at the office.

My Most Memorable Work Moment…I have quite a few stories, but without any doubt, this one is remembered by more than a few people… At one of the agencies I worked at in Milan, we had a very complicated project with an extremely tough and demanding client. We were working long hours, including weekends, and the entire agency was under a lot of stress.

I was assigned one of the clients along with a colleague of mine. One day (well, one night), we were still at the office, and everyone was feeling down and exhausted. I pretended to get a call from the client and acted like I was telling him off—literally telling him to go to hell.

My colleague didn’t know where to hide or how he was going to fix the disaster I was causing. Everyone froze… they couldn’t believe I had lost it like that. When they realized it was a joke, we all burst out laughing, and at least for a moment, we were able to break the tension we’d all been carrying.

My Role Models are…My parents without a doubt. From my father, I inherited the culture of effort and hard work. Of never settling and always striving to keep learning in an honest and humble way. Always starting from the bottom, so that as you gradually move up, you can appreciate and understand the work of those below you and truly feel the power of teamwork. And always, always learn from every person around you.

From my mother, I learned the importance of managing, organizing, and running a household and family. She taught me to enjoy each day but always keep an eye on the future, so I’m prepared for whatever might come.

And from both of them, I’ve learned the value of family. The most important thing I have in life: love for my loved ones and the bond with my family.

The Most Challenging Part of My Job…I’m still going through onboarding, so pretty much everything feels like a challenge right now. I’m learning new processes, figuring out how to work with teams that have all kinds of different experience levels, and leading a group of senior professionals who are used to different ways of working… Overall, it’s a super interesting (and challenging) time — but definitely never boring.

The Best Part of My Job…What I enjoy most about my job is working on creative and innovative projects in advertising and communication that raise awareness about certain diseases and help promote the prevention of others. It feels like I’m contributing — even if just a tiny bit — to building a healthier and more conscious society.

After Work…My after-work hours are usually pretty full-on — I’m always up to something. Beyond trying to stay active (I go to the gym 3–4 times a week), I also take dance lessons, which is one of my biggest passions. I’ve been dancing pretty much all my life — ballet, modern, contemporary — but in the past few years I’ve focused more on flamenco and Spanish dance. From time to time, I also give drum lessons, and right now I’m planning to start a writing course after the summer to help me shape the book I’ve started working on. Travelling is my true passion, and I try to get away whenever I can, whether it’s somewhere nearby or far away.

And of course, living in a city like Madrid — full of energy and life — I try to make the most of it on the weekends: theatre, musicals, wine and tapas, museums… I’m always up for a good plan.

Plan B: If I wasn’t doing this, I would

I’ve always had a soft spot for journalism — it’s that one dream that still lingers. If I had to be specific, it would be radio. Now that I’m older and truly know myself, I’m convinced it’s something I would’ve deeply enjoyed. There’s a kind of magic in radio that no other medium has. It speaks to the imagination in such a unique way. Even now, I haven’t completely let go of that dream. Maybe one day, I’ll give it a try.
