On Monday, June 22^nd President Donald Trump issued a Presidential Proclamation announcing the temporary suspension of several nonimmigrant visa categories.  This exclusion includes the issuance of new J-I visas for trainees and interns.  The official text of the President’s Proclamation can be found here.  This Proclamation is effective on June 24, 2020 until the end of this year.  We hope to resume the Program next year with a March 2021 intake.
