Position Summary:

Mountbatten has an opening for a Recruitment & Admissions Manager who is excited about identifying and following up on leads and recruiting trainees for our international career development program. We are seeking an enthusiastic go-getter who is eager to spread the word about why international exchange programs are a great next step towards becoming a global citizen and gaining the soft skills to thrive in any industry. This role will work with marketing and program leadership to create a successful sales strategy aligned with application deadlines and seasonal travel cycles. In addition they will assess and interview graduate applicants to the program and assist the Corporate Relations team with matching them to available international placements in both London and New York.

This position is an integral member of a small yet mighty team entrusted with increasing the number of young professionals who go abroad for cultural experiences and professional development. This role is very customer focused and varied so excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. You should also show initiative, drive and will need to be adaptable to different situations. This is a post demanding flexibility, highly developed organization and prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure in what is often a very busy office environment.

Essential functions & Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment: Help grow the number of applicants to the New York and London program
  • Identify and reach out to new graduate audiences
  • Convert leads into new program participants and improve retention rates
  • Present on the value of our programs in a variety of settings including university fairs and webinars
  • Collaborate with Marketing to maintain communications with contacts regarding existing and new program offerings
  • Following up on warm database leads and providing guidance and advice about the Program
  • Nurturing potential candidates to submit an application, including both phone and email follow up
  • Monitoring general enquiry inbox and answering telephone enquiries daily
  • Reaching out to warm leads through LinkedIn via shared profiles on our job adverts
  1. Admissions: Manage the London and New York Program application and placement process
  • Oversee the application process for March and August cohorts and provide logistical support to candidates throughout the application and placement process
  • Supervise day-to-day admissions operations, candidate interview schedule, electronic and print communications and program payments
  • Disseminate and collect program confirmation materials and forms
  • Manage and update the database of participants, maintaining statistics for each intake and producing regular reports
  • Assist the Corporate Relations team with matching candidates to available corporate placements in London and New York
  • Scheduling and coordinating candidate interviews with sponsor company supervisors
  • Assisting with the J1 and Tier 5 visa process and administrative duties in the run up to a new intake

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

  • Previous experience in recruiting for graduate programs
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience dealing with customers/clients by phone, email and face to face

Desirable

  • Time spent studying or working abroad
  • Experience using LinkedIn for recruitment
