Mountbatten Interns in London are young men and women with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, and possibly some work experience who believe in life's possibilities and who are not afraid to take risks.

You don't have to be a native English-speaker, but your written and spoken English must be first rate. You must be in good health. Interns on the UBS / Mountbatten Programme are ambassadors of India and so we are seeking young professionals with a high degree of maturity who present themselves well. Applicants should be self-starters / self-completers, capable of hard work, and are prepared to make and honor a year-long commitment. Interns should be quite prepared to adapt to the British way of doing things. The London Programme is relatively new and in some areas is still under development - you should be flexible and prepared to deal with change should the Programme necessitate it.

Internships reflect all the roller coaster ups and downs of living and working abroad and adjusting to an international and competitive workplace. You will learn what working in a corporate environment is like, and how to deal with bosses, peers, periods of stress and periods of quiet -- aspects of which will help you envision your future in the workplace -- and all of this takes place in a foreign cultural setting.

Your year will go by very quickly.
