HOW TO APPLY
Application Form
Complete the application form carefully and accurately. Print the form and sign the Intern's Pledge on the last page. Mail the completed application form to the Mountbatten Institute's Asia/Pacific Office (for address see Contact Us).
Personal Statement
This statement and the application form is shown to Deutsche Bank managers. It tells both the Mountbatten Institute and Deutsche Bank about you and your reasons for undertaking an internship in London with Deutsche Bank. This should not be a cover letter. Tell us what you expect to gain from The Programme and the Certificate and what you think you have to offer Deutsche Bank in London. Be straightforward, candid and honest. It must fit onto one typewritten page. We strongly advise you to have it proofread. Upload this in the application.
Résumé
Your résumé (called a CV in the UK) is a very important part of the application procedure and is shared with Deutsche Bank as the sponsoring company. It should reflect you at your best and contain accurate information about your work experience and skills. Your résumé must fit onto one page. Upload this in the application.
Photographs
The Mountbatten Institute seeks people who are well groomed, professionally dressed and personable. Please smile. It is well worth a bit of extra effort to ensure that the photographs you send are well produced and look professional. These should be passport photographs i.e. head and shoulders only, approx. 1.5 x 2 inches - the size is important. Please provide two (2).
References
Print off three (3) copies of the Reference Form, sign the confidentiality waiver at the top of the first page and send them to your referees. References should be returned by the referee directly to the Mounbatten Institute - Asia/Pacific Regional Office in Bangkok by the referee. It is fine if they arrive before your application. We require references from your two most recent employers at a minimum, and one from a professor or advisor at your college. Choose someone who knows you and your work well. References prepared by family or family friends will not be accepted. Print/download the reference form here.
