Mountbatten Institute - London Programme
THE INTERNSHIP
At the heart of the Programme is a year's work placement in or near London with a British-based sponsor company. Sponsors provide our interns with a range of practical training opportunities. Here you will develop some key skills and competencies, such as communications, team building, problem solving, and decision making, which underpin any career path.
Sponsors vary from large multinational organizations to small businesses and reflect different fields such as: financial services, accountancy, human resources, information technology, communications services, marketing, and law. We try hard to place you in your industry of choice. However, a great deal depends on your experience, interests, skills, demeanor, and some luck of the draw. Your placement may vary from a project-based or research-based role to an analytical position. Most placements are in the upper range of corporate entry-level positions.
Your performance at your company is evaluated in writing by your supervisor twice throughout the year as you gain in skills, knowledge and confidence.
Each internship is different, combining both personal and professional development.
