You should have ample opportunity during your internship year in London to research your company, or your industry, in light of the business and management approaches which you are learning. The skills and knowledge acquired during the year of work and study abroad give you the opportunity to test theories and analyze ideas in an international context.

During your internship year you are regarded as an extended student of St Mary's University College, Twickenham, and your weekend seminar program is conducted in the new Shannon Conference Center at the University. The College provides a full range of facilities, which are available to all Mountbatten Institute students, including a cafeteria, a sports center and other recreational areas. The College is a 30-minute train ride from Waterloo Station, with frequent service provided. The evening seminar program is delivered either at the Mountbatten Institute's London Regional Office, located close to the Barbican in central London, or at nearby London Metropolitan University.
