The Mountbatten Institute - London Postgraduate Certificate Programme
Assessment

An academically credible qualification that evaluates your strengths

Upon completion of the three courses described above, and before being awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in International Business Practice, students will have proposed and developed three research papers, one for each course. These papers, along with participation in groups and class discussions, provide ample opportunity for each student to demonstrate the skills necessary for successful and effective research and the ability to apply those skills in the workplace. This experiential postgraduate certificate provides exposure to core business practices and management theories within an international context. Graduates learn through the application of real-life experience and are able to relate their work placement to the material covered.

Postgraduate Course

Participants in the Certificate programme will produce work commensurate with the value of the award, which is of Master’s degree standard. Assignments, which must be the original work of the student, will include two case study reports and an essay, of 3,000 words each, one work-based report and a reflective journal of at least 1,500 words. A group presentation and class participation in each course will also be assessed. All assignments will be graded by the subject Professor, with written and on-line assignments moderated by examiners appointed by St Mary's University College, Twickenham.
