Dr. Geoff Paul is an Academic Director at St Mary's University Twickenham and advises on Programme Moderation and the Quality Assurance issues on both the Mountbatten Institute's MBA and PGC International Business Practice Programmes across the entirety of the Institute's international operations.


With regard to his academic qualifications, Dr Paul graduated from Aston University with a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and proceeded to complete his PhD in Chemical Engineering from London South Bank University. Upon completion of his doctorate, Dr Paul worked in Management/Engineering Consultancy for over 15 years, during which time he completed his MBA in International Business at City University Business School (renamed CASS Business School), where his final year Dissertation study focussed on Mergers and Acquisitions in the Finance Sector.

Outside of academia, Dr Paul has worked as a Senior Management Consultant for WS Atkins Consultants Ltd and Granherne Consultants. As a Consultant, Dr Paul wahs worked in the Oil and Gas Industry, Transportation, Water, Nuclear, Defence and Environmental Sciences Industries. Dr Paul has undertaken Consultancy work in many countries including Spain, Holland, Ireland, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. He has been a Trustee for the charity Victims Support
