Dorothy McAleer is currently working as an Adjunct Professor and Executive Education Instructor for a number of academic institutions, including Lille Catholic University, Iéseg School of Management, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, and the Institut Supérieur Europeen de Gestion, Paris. Dorothy lectures on numerous topics, such as Risk Management, Business Ethics and Revenue Recognition.


Before her transition to academia, Dorothy worked for Altria Corporate Services in a number of positions, including Lead Auditor, South American Region and Senior Auditor in New York, and Senior Legal Analyst in Washington. Outside of her regular work commitments, Dorothy is a Board Member of the University of Bath Foundation.

Dorothy received her MBA from George Washington University and her MS in European Social Policy Analysis from the University of Bath, England. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the International School of Management, where her research is focusing on "Risk Management and Internal Controls in the Microfinance Sector."
